Garment Measurements
This chart gives you the measurements of the clothing items themselves. It should not be confused
with our body sizing chart. Ideally, you should refer to both charts in order to make sure you choose the correct size for yourself.
Please note that for all bust, waist and hip measurements, we are working with half-circumference measurements, not full circumference.
How to take garment measurements of tops, dresses and jackets:

Lay out a similar garment you own flat on the floor or on a table. Using a soft measuring tape, take the following measurements:
Length: Measure the center back of the garment, from the bottom of the neckline until the end of the hem at the bottom of the garment.
Sleeve: Measure the length of the sleeve from the point of its attachment at the top of the shoulder,
to the end of the cuff hem.
Bust: Measure immediately underneath the armhole, across the chest of the garment.
Shoulder: Measure from the point of sleeve attachment at the top of the shoulder on one side,
to the same point on the other side.
Waist: Measure 6.5″ (17cm) down from underneath the armhole. This gives you the waist level. Now measure across the width of the garment.
Hip: Measure 14.5″ (37cm) down from underneath the armhole. This gives you the hip level. Now measure across the width of the garment.
Collar: Measure the complete circumference of the collar seat

Lay out a similar garment you own flat on the floor or on a table. Using a soft measuring tape,
take the following measurements:
Length: Measure the center the garment, from the top of the waistband until the hem at the bottom
of the garment.
Waist: Measure the top of the waistband, from one side to the other.
Hip: Measure 8″ (20cm) down the centre from the top of the waistband. This gives you the hip level. Now measure across the width of the garment.

Lay out a similar garment you own flat on the floor or on a table. Using a soft measuring tape, take the following
measurements:
Length (Outside seam): Measure the side of one of the legs, from the top of the waistband until the hem at the bottom of the garment.
Length (Inseam): Measure from the crotch of the pants until the hem at the bottom of one of the legs.
Waist: Measure the top of the waistband, from one side to the other.
Hip: Measure 8″ (20cm) down the side of one of the legs from the top of the waistband. This gives you the hip level. Now measure across the width of the garment.
